That’s right, our store is live, and you can find it here or through the (surprise!) Store link at the top of the page. In it, you’ll find a wide array of Twilight collectibles clothes, jewelry, toys, and, of course, books straight from Amazon.com, the world’s most prolific online shopping source.
In a recent interview with MTV, our favorite werewolf – Jacob, I mean … Taylor Lautner of course – revealed that he is much more than just a pretty face.
He is very excited about Eclipse’s upcoming debut on June 30 – as is just about everyone else on the planet. He took a moment to talk about just how uncomfortable he feels when filming the scenes where he is forced to have his shirt off, which for Eclipse, like New Moon, is apparently for most of his on-screen time. In fact, he said that he has a really hard time even watching himself in the finished film. What a guy!
Most interestingly, however, in this interview, Lautner made sure to point out just how exciting and action-packed the film is, letting everyone know that it is definitely the most “guy friendly” film thus far in the series. He goes further to emphasize that while the romance of the previous two novels are still there, the action is much more intense and plays a more predominant role in the overall movie. Girls – don’t be afraid to bring your boyfriends or husbands — as we could have all guessed, Eclipse will be right up their alley and as Lautner suggests, “even better than (he) expected.”
Show your allegiance to a very sexy Jacob with this super-cute T-Shirt from Amazon. It sports a brand new design from the New Moon release and will be the perfect thing to wear to the Eclipse premiere on June 30th! It’s even eligible for free returns in case it just doesn’t fit you just right – can’t beat that!!
The UK’s NME magazine, the world’s longest running music-focused weekly publication, ran an informative article about the development of the upcoming soundtrack for Eclipse. The film’s music supervisors, Paul Katz and Alexandra Patsavas joined in on the interview and were asked to talk about how they selected music for what will undoubtedly be one of the best Twilight gifts a Twi-hard fan could ever get!
Many fans feel as though the soundtracks for both Twilight and New Moon were absolutely pitch perfect – capturing the true essence of the films. The music chosen for each movie managed to enchant, enthrall, and captivate Twi-hard fans of all ages and musical tastes. Unlike many other soundtrack releases, those for the Twilight series have been unique in that the fans connect in a very powerful way with the music. This concept of respect and admiration for Twi-hards was something that the musical supervisors relied strongly upon when compiling the tracks.
While a few of the bands featured on soundtracks one and two were already relatively mainstream – think Muse - many were completely unknown using the Twilight project to launch their musical careers. Katz and Patsavas insist that it is not a matter of a band’s popularity that is important, but rather that the absolute best music is selected for every single breath-taking moment. Nonetheless, they do admit to relishing the opportunity of introducing new acts to a hungry and passionate musical audience. The soundtrack will be released on June 8, 2010 and a complete track list is below with performer listed first followed by song title.
1.Metric: Eclipse (All Yours)

That’s right, you read that correctly. Billy Burke, the terrific actor who plays Bella’s father, Charlie Swan, in The Twilight Saga series has released his first music video. This nearly five-minute long video is for the single Removed from his new album, scheduled to debut in June.
On his personal website, Billy talks about the interesting “guerilla-style” tactics employed in the spontaneous development of the video. Shot in and around Shreveport, LA, while Billy was on-location for the filming of Driving Angry with Nicolas Cage, the entire video was taped in a single day without a script and by simply seeing where the day took them. The woman who portrays gently crooning Billy’s leading lady is none other than his real-life wife and best friend, Pollyanna Rose. It looks like the trio had a fun time filming — especially the ending scene with Billy standing in the closet of a rental house, in his underwear while drinking a glass of what can only be assumed to be alcohol of some sort!

Latest in Twilight News: It’s official – or at least as official as the Social Security Administration gets and … all things considered — that’s really pretty legit. Stephanie Meyers and The Twilight Saga have made a lasting and undoubtedly indelible impression on the future of our great nation.
In its latest annual listing of the most frequently selected baby names for 2009, Isabella — our favorite heroine — tops the list at number one.
Most of the other names for girls in the top ten are, like Isabella, evocative of traditional older names also popular in the early twentieth century.
This trend in a resurgence of traditional names can be seen reflected in the boy’s list as well with a prevalence of Williams, Michaels, Joshuas and Daniels. Oddly enough, the number one position for boys is both a traditional, Biblical name and also one found in Twilight — Jacob!!
That’s right, the werewolf leads the pack with Edward coming far behind in position 137. Twilight characters absolutely dominate the listing. In fact, one of the fastest rising boys names in 2009 is actually Cullen — the surname of our favorite “vegetarian” vampire family.
This homage to the series will only continue to increase in coming years and preschools will soon be flooded with their share of little Bellas, Jacobs, Alices, and Carlisles. Recently I overheard a group of parents calling their children and heard a Bella, Embry, and a Quil – and that was just a small gathering – imagine a first grade classroom full of them!
There will undoubtedly be years and years of vampire-related birthdays and Halloween costumes with Twilight clothes ahead. Why not start with this really super adorable onesie we found on eBay for under $20 — not only is it totally cute but you can’t get better than a personalized Twilight gift or Twilight collectible!
Okay, so while it’s not the “November” we might like it to be, at least the movie has a release date and it’s in the not-too-distant future of 2011!!
Twi-hard fans are ecstatic to find out that the latest film in The Twilight Saga will be released in theaters in November 2011 — just in time to capitalize on the Thanksgiving weekend holiday moviegoers. Insiders are still mum as to whether or not Breaking Dawn will be broken into two different films or if it will be released as one.
Fans are torn on this topic – on the one hand, it would be great to sink our fangs into two separate films about our favorite subjects and on the other hand, it would be so satisfying to see the full transition in one amazing performance.
Either way, it will be easy to know what to get the favorite Twi-hard fan in your life for Christmas next year — besides movie tickets that is!! Fans, be sure to get those Amazon wish lists up-to-date with all the latest and greatest in Twilight collectibles, Twilight toys, Twilight gifts, Twilight jewelry, and even Twilight clothes. Also, check out all the cool user-generated swag at CafePress and unique items at Hot Topic. Twi-gear creators must be working over-time to make all the coolest, latest, and greatest Twilight gifts for fans to exchange next year and we can’t wait to see them! As we learn of more, we’ll be sure to let you know!!
Summit Entertainment just premiered the final teaser trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, scheduled for release on June 30th. In other news, the amazingly talented and surprisingly humble mega-hunk Robert Pattinson who, of course, plays our favorite vampire Edward, in another dashing display of gallantry has revealed that he will never be the superstar Hollywood diva type. Unlike other stars who have been known to make outrageous demands, he insists that he’s really rather down-to-earth and would never treat his fellows actors and fans that way. Ordinary people approach him on the street casually to congratulate him on his achievements and he is usually most happy to shake their hands. Even though gobs of Twi-hard fans excite to the point of fainting just at the glimpse of him, Robert just doesn’t understand all of the attention and goes on to claim that he’s definitely “not as sexy as Brad Pitt”. Millions of Twi-hard fans would strongly disagree with that statement!
On a more personal note, Robert also took the opportunity to deny the rampant rumors of his engagement to Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart. Whew! This is great news for those of us still hoping to become the next Ms. Pattinson! So tonight while you’re blissfully dreaming about Edward or even Robert – use the The Twilight Saga: New Moon highly collectible Twilight toy dream catcher to hang onto those feelings. Is it in some way “wrong” to use a replica of the dream catcher that Jacob gave Bella in order to dream about Edward? It certainly didn’t stop Bella – so don’t let it stop you! Besides, just throw in a dream or two about Jacob for good measure!
Who doesn’t like free swag?? We certainly do, so we thought we’d pass this tasty little nugget along to our intrepid readers. Billy Burke, the actor who plays Bella’s dad Charlie Swan in the Twilight movies, is also a musician. It was actually a record label deal which moved him from his native Washington state to California. The music contract fell through, but he stuck around and started acting. And the rest, as they say, is history (or at least on Wikipedia ;-)).
Billy has been tweeting recently about a new single he is releasing soon which is available as a free download from his website. Simply sign up with your name and e-mail, and the single Removed is yours. I’d never heard Billy’s music before, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that it fit in perfectly with my eclectic musical taste. The single has a distinctly Indie, coffeehouse feel with acoustics and accordions and strong vocals.
But you better hurry– Billy has indicated that the single won’t be available forever, so go get it already.
In the 2010 ranking, relative newcomer Carlisle Cullen surges to the top position with an estimated net worth of well over $34 billion. It is easy to see how Carlisle could take over the ranking so quickly. I mean, not only is he a totally brilliant and compassionate doctor but he’s been actively growing his wealth since the mid-1600s! It also really helps that, more recently, he has had the keen assistance of Alice who can see into the future and boy is this an excellent quality to have when dabbling in the stock market! Hopefully he has made sure to buy stock in Twilight Collectibles too…
On his way to the top, Carlisle bypassed some pretty calculating and well-known childhood characters such as the Tooth Fairy and The Simpson’s Montgomery Burns. In his rapid ascent, Carlisle flew past both Richie Rich and even Scrooge McDuck. After several years of being dropped from the list, literary hero Jay Gatsby from F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby makes a bold reappearance with a $1 billion dollar fortune claiming the 15th position. Two significant characters to drop off of the list entirely this year include Uncle Sam who has long been used as a recruiting tool for the US Army and Jabba the Hut of Star Wars legend who Forbes reports as having “died” in mysterious circumstances — hmmm … vampires perhaps?
In order to be included in the listing, candidates must be a fictional creation which excludes folkloric and mythological characters. The candidates were required to have starred in a particular work or series of works and must be ubiquitously known within their universe as extremely wealthy. In order to determine the characters’ net worth, Forbes conducts an analysis of the original source work and values any information provided there against real-world stock price and commodity movements.
